Even though the numbers of ducks and geese is good in our area the hunting pressure is light in comparison to other parts of the state and even country with comparable numbers. As a result you will not find many if any guides that do much with waterfowl unless you go quite far east like Devils Lake or Audabon. While the rest of North Dakota is loaded with greater Canadian Honkers the season is way to generous here early in the season when it is just locals and they get hammered hard before they began to get smart. We do have an in store duck expert who recently moved here who may be able to help you get going in the right direction or give some good advice, his name is Keith. |
